A supervised Day Care program is available for students in our school from 7:00 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. before school and from 2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. after school.   A full-time director, Jason Gillaspie, administers the program, communicating with parents and training staff.

Our program's purpose is to meet the needs of children—emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive. Curriculum may include free time, quiet times, organized games, study hall, and more. Day care is open on some holidays. An extra fee is charged for non-school days, and pre-registration is required. See schedule of rates available in the school office.

Day Care Fees:

• Arrangements for day care are by semester only. No changes are allowed month to month. See the school bookkeeper for fee questions.
• Fees are for the year and may be paid in 10 equal payments August 1 to May 1. Payments are divided for convenience and do not constitute “monthly” charges.
• Flat rate day care covers school days only. On days when school is closed but day care is open, an additional fee and pre-registration is required for attendance.
• Occasional day care is available no more than twice a week at an hourly rate per child (no family discounts), payable to the nearest half hour (mornings--charges from 7:00 a.m.; afternoon--charges begin at 2:45 p.m.). Parents must note on sign-out sheet if day care is for sports or detention in order not to incur charges (however, siblings who stay are charged). A deposit on account is required, and a penalty is incurred if the service is used without deposit. Occasional day care is not available in Preschool. Funds remaining at the end of the year are carried over to the following year. Occasional day care is not available to students in the After-School Success Program.
• Day care fees are waived only in the case of morning car pools where one member is in a band class beginning before 8:00 a.m. In all other situations, car pool members will be responsible for day care fees.
• A late pick-up fee of $20.00 per quarter hour or portion thereof is charged for any student who is picked up after 6:00 p.m. sharp.
